Many major temples in Koh Lanta provide sarongs or wraps to borrow or rent (typically 20-50 THB) for visitors who arrive underdressed, but smaller temples may turn you away. As a practical tip, carry a light scarf or sarong in your bag when exploring Koh Lanta, as you may encounter temples unexpectedly while walking through neighborhoods. Inside the temple, sit with your feet tucked behind you (never point your feet toward a Buddha image or monk), speak softly, and silence your phone.
